HE RE AS by Indenture of Settlement, bearing Date the Fif- Tadcntureof
teenth Day of July One thoufand feven hundred and ninety- Settlement,
four, made between the Reverend Charles Burton Phillip/en ^at.*
Clerk, theretofore called Charles Wright (fmce deceafed), and Sufanna Juy
his Wife (alio deceafed), of the Firft Part j John Miller Gentleman, of
the Second Part-, and John Wing Efquire, and Wright Thomas Squire
Merchant, of the Third Part; and, by virtue of Two Fines, fur Co-
nuzance de

&c. duly levied by the faid Charles Burton PhiU

and Sufanna his Wife3 in or as of Trinity Term, in the Thirty-
fourth Year of the Reign of His prefent Majefly, in purfuance of the
fame. Indenture, divers Manors, Meffuages, Farms, Lands, Tenements,
Tythes, and Hereditaments, in the faid Indenture particularly defcribed,
fuuate in the Counties of Suffolk and Surrey, with the Appurtenances,
were fertled and aflured to the Ufe of fuch Perfon or Perfons, and for
fuch Eftate or Eftates, and for fuch Intents and Purpofes, and with,
under, and fubject to fuch Limitations, Trufts, Powers, Provifoes,. Con-
ditions, and Declarations, as the faid Charier Burton Phillipfon, and Su«
fanna his Wife, fhould jointly, in Manner in the faid Indenture men-
tioned, direfl:, limit, or. appoint; and in Default of fuch Appointment
to the Ufe of the faid Charles Burton Phillipfon and his Afligns, for his
Life,
with Remainder to the Ufe of the faid John Wing and Wright
