1981 CHAPTER 50
An Act to repeal section 2(1) of the Friendly Societies Act 1974.
[27th July 1981]
Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Repeal of 1974 c. 46 s. 2\(1).
1. Section 2(1) of the Friendly Societies Act 1974 (qualification of Chief Registrar) is hereby repealed.
2 Short title and extent.
(1) This Act may be cited as the Friendly Societies Act 1981 .
(2) This Act extends to the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands but does not extend to Northern Ireland.
