An Act to authorize the making of a Turnpike
Road from Thames Street in the Parish of
Cleicer in the Borough of New Windsor in the
County of Berks to Oxford Road in the said
Parish ; and for other Purposes.

HEREAS the Construction of a Turnpike Road from the
Southern Side of Thames Street in the Parish of Clewer in
the Borough of New Windsor to the Oxford Road in the
said Parish, all in the County of Berks, would be of local and public
Advantage, but the same cannot be effected without the Authority of
Parliament: May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be
enacted; and be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal,
and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Autho-
rity of the same, as follows ; (that is to say,)
I. That in citing this Act for any Purpose whatsoever it shall be Short Title.
sufficient to use the Expression " The Windsor New Road Act, 1858."
II.
That in this Act the following Words and Expressions shall have Interpreta-
tion of
Terms.
