HERE AS there are within the Townfhip of \ Walton with
Lindeth, in the Parifh of Warton, in the County Palatine of
Lancq/ler, certain large Tra&s of Common and Wafte Ground,
containing by Eftimation Nine hundred and fifteen Acres, or thereabouts;
and there are alfo within the Townfhip of Siherdale, in the fame Parifh,
certain other large Trafts of Commons, Moffes, and Wafte Grounds, con-
taining by Eftimation Seven hundred Acres, or thereabouts: And whereas the
King's molt Excellent Majefty, in Right of His Crown, is feized to
Himfelf,
His Heirs and SuccefTors, of the Manor of Warion with Lindeth: And
whereas Daniel IVilfon Efquire,is feized oi the Manor of Siherdale: And
whereas the faid Daniel Wil/bn9 and John Bolden,
Tho?nas
Strickland
Standijhy and Robert himan, Efquires, and Thomas Majhiter, and James
Kellety Gentlemen, and divers other Perfons, are alfo the Owners and
Proprietors of Meffuages, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, 'within
the faid Townfhips of Warton with Lindeth and Silver dale? or toir^Tpr

thereof,
or otherwife, are entitled to Right
of Common of Pafture in, upon, or over the faid Trads of Common,
Moffes, or Wafte Grounds, or fome Part
thereof:
And whereas there is
within the faid Townfhip of Warton with Lindeth., a large Tra& of Land

recovered, embanked, and converted into Arable Land: And whereas

that it may be enacted; and be it enacted by the King's moft Excellent
Majefty, by and with the Advice and Confent of the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal, and Commons, in this prefect Parliameqt affembled, and by
Commiffion- the Authority of the fame, That John Bower of

ISid County of Laneajier^ Gentleman, and Richard Mount of Silverdkle,
aforefaid, Yeoman, in refpect of the faid Commons, Moffes, and W'afte
Grounds, within the faid Townfhip of Silverdale, ihall be, and they are
hereby appointed Co,mmifftQi}ers, for dividing and allotting the laid Com-
mons,
Moffes, and Wafte Gfrounds, and putting this Act in Execution, in
fuch Manner and fubject to fuch Regulations, as are herein-after contained,
with fuch of the Powers, and fubject to fuch of the Rules, Orders, Di-
rections, Regulations, Reftrictions, and Provifions, contained 19 an Act,
paffed in the Forty-firft Year @f the Reign of His prefent Majefty, intituled,

acid Richard MQU09 and their Succeffors, to be appointed in Manner
hereinafter mentioned, as CotnmiiSoners, in Relation to the Inclofure,
Divifion,and Allotment of the faid Commons, Moffes, and Wafte Grounds
Within the faid Townfhip of Silverdale, ihall not authorize and empower
them as fuch Commiflioners, to interfere or intermeddle in any Mannef
with the Inclofure, Recovery, Divifion, and Allotment of the faid dom-
monsj Wafte Grounds, and Trafts of Land within the faid Townfhip of
Warton with
Lindeth>
but that the faid Commiflioners refpeftively, fhall
a£t, and their Proceedings,. Orders, and Directions, fhall be deemed and
taken to relate ox*ly to the Inclofure and Allotment of the Commons,
Moffes,
