An Act to amend and extend the Provisions of an
Act passed in the Third Year of the Reign of
King George the Fourth, intituled An Act for
incorporating the Warrington Gaslight Company.

HEREAS an Act was passed in the Third Year of the
Reign of His Majesty King George the Fourth, intituled
An Act for incorporating the Warrington Gaslight Com-

pany, whereby a Company was incorporated called " The Warring-
ton Gaslight and Coke Company," and Powers were conferred upon
such Company to purchase Lands by Agreement, and to construct
and maintain all necessary Works for the Purpose of supplying with
Gas the Town of Warrington, the adjacent Villages of Latchford
and Appleton, and other the Suburbs, Liberties, and Precincts of the
said Town : And whereas it is expedient that the Limits of the said
Act should be extended, and the said Company authorized to supply
Gas within all or any of the Places herein-after specified; (that is to
[Local.] 6 7, say?)
