(Commencement) Regulations 2020

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by
section 12(2) of the Scottish Elections (Franchise and Representation) Act 2020(a).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Scottish Elections (Franchise and Representation) Act
2020 (Commencement) Regulations 2020 and come into force on 3 August 2020.
Appointed day
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of Parts 1 and 2 of the Scottish Elections
(Franchise and Representation) Act 2020 is 3 August 2020.
