The General Chiropractic Council (Registration) (Amendment and Repayment) Rules 2011
The General Chiropractic Council makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3(2), 6(2) and (4), and 35(2) of the Chiropractors Act 1994.
1. Citation, commencement and interpretation
(1) These Rules may be cited as the General Chiropractic Council (Registration) (Amendment and Repayment) Rules 2011 and come into force on 1st January 2012.
(2) In these Rules—
“the Registration Rules” means the General Chiropractic Council (Registration) Rules 19992,
“the registration year 2012” means the period of registration ending 31st December 2012 by virtue of rule 8(1)(b) of the Registration Rules;
“the relevant date” means the date on which these Rules come into force; and
“retention fee” has the meaning given it in rule 8 of the Registration Rules.
2. Amendments to the Registration Rules
In Schedule 2 (fees) of the Registration Rules—
(a) in paragraph 1(b), for “£1,250” substitute “£750”;
(b) in paragraph 3(b), for “£1,000” substitute “£800”;
(c) in paragraph 4(b), for “£1,250” substitute “£750”;
(d) in paragraph 5(b), for “£1,250” substitute “£750”.
