The Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2009

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 20041.

S-1 Citation

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 (Commencement No. 11) Order 2009.

S-2 Commencement

Commencement

2. The following provisions of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 shall come into force on 30th September 2009 to the extent not already in force—

(a) section 12 (restraining orders: England and Wales);

(b) section 13 (restraining orders: Northern Ireland);

(c) section 58 (amendments and repeals) so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraphs (d) and (e);

(d) in Schedule 10 (minor and consequential amendments) paragraphs 43, 44 and 47; and

(e) in Schedule 11 (repeals), the entries relating to—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 30th September 2009 the provisions of the Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act 2004 listed in article 2 to the extent that they are not already in force.
