The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by
section 27(3) of the Civil Litigation (Expenses and Group Proceedings) (Scotland) Act 2018(a).
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Civil Litigation (Expenses and Group Proceedings)
(Scotland) Act 2018 (Commencement N o. 3) Regulations 2020 and come into force on 31 July
2020.
Appointed day
2. 31 July 2020 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 20(1) to (6), (9) and
(10) (group proceedings) of the Civil Litigation (Expenses and Group Proceedings) (Scotland) Act
2018.
