1976 CHAPTER 12

An Act to revise the statute law of Northern Ireland by repealing obsolete, spent, unnecessary or superseded enactments.

[13th April 1976]

Be it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

S-1 Repeals.

1 Repeals.

1. The enactments specified in the Schedule to this Act (which to the extent specified in column 3 of that Schedule are obsolete, spent or unnecessary or have been superseded by other enactments) are hereby repealed to that extent.

S-2 Short title, extent, etc.

2 Short title, extent, etc.

(1) This Act may be cited as the Statute Law Revision (Northern Ireland) Act 1976 .

(2) This Act extends to Northern Ireland only.

(3) In this Act ‘enactment’ includes an Act of the Parliament of Northern Ireland and a Measure of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
