An Act
for
supplying and lighting with Gas the
several Townships of
Peniston, Thurlstone,
and
Ocvspring,
and Places adjacent, all in the Parish
of
Peniston
in the West Riding of the County
of
York.

HEREAS it is expedient that the several Townships of
W
Peniston, Thurlstone,
and
Oxspring,
and Places adjacent,
all in the Parish of
Peniston
in the West Riding of the
County of
York,
should be lighted with Gas : And whereas the
Parties herein-after mentioned, with others, are willing to supply such
Townships and Places adjacent with Gas, if authorized by Parliament
so to do : May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be
enacted; and be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty,
by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled,
and by the Authority of the same, as follows (that is to say) :
I. This Act may be cited for any Purpose as " The
Peniston,
Short Title.
Thurlstone, and Oxspring
Gas Act, 1858."
