HEREAS
an Act
was
passcd in the last Session of Parlia-
ment, intituled

Actfor

Oxford

Wolverhampton

And whereas it would

attended with local and public Advantage if the said Railway were
extended by means of Branch or Extension Lines
of
Railway froni the
Parish of
ilrortlileigl)
in the County of
O.-cford
to
Witney
in the same
County, and from
Weston Subedge
in the County of
Gloucester
to or
ncar to the Town of
Stratford-on-Avon
in the County
of
Warwick,
and also fiom near
Droitwich
in the County
of
Worcester
to join the
Stolre
Branch of the said Railway in the Parish
of
Dodderhill
in the
same last-mentioned County
:
And whereas the
Oxford,
Worcester,
and Wolverhampton
Railway Company are desirous
of
carrying into
effect the said Extensions, if authorized by Parliament
so
to do, but
for such Purpose it is expedient that the Capital authorized to
be
