MAGNA CHARTA.The GREAT CHARTER,Made in the Ninth Year of King Henry the Third, and confirmed by King Edward the First in the Five and twentieth Year of His Reign . In what only Case a Woman shall have an Appeal of Death.

(25 Edw. 1) C A P. XXXIV.

'NO Man shall be taken or imprisoned upon the Appeal of a Woman for the Death of any other, than of her Husband.'
