mentioned,
in the County ^Carmar-
then ; and to alter and enlarge the Powers
thereof.

HEREAS an Aft was paffed in the Fifty-fecond Year of the
Reign of His prefent Majefty, intituled An Aft for the
Im-^520.3.0.173,
provement
of the Harbour of Kidwelly, and for
making
and
maintaining
a
Navigable
Canal
or Tramroads
in Kidwelly
and
Llanelly, and
other'Parijbes therein
mentioned,
in the County
^Carmarthen: And whereas
it was "thereby enafted, that certain Perfons therein named, their feveral
and refpe&ive Succeffors, Adminiftrators, and Affigns, together with fuch
Perfon or Perfons* Bodies Politic, Corporate, or Collegiate, as fhould at
any Time thereafter be poffefled of any Share or Shares in the Under-
taking thereby authorized to be carried into Execution, fhould be and
were,
thereby united into a Company, for the better reftoring, improving,
arid maintaining of the faid Harbour of
Kidwelly,
and for the better car-
rying on, making, completing, and maintaining of the faid intended Canal
and Railways or Tramroads, and carrying on, making, completing, and
maintaining fuch Collateral Branches of Canal, Railways or Tramroads,
Wharfs, Shipping
Places,
Drains,
and other Conveniencesj as were therein
mentioned,, according to the Rules, Orders, and Directions therein ex-
preffed and laid down, and fhould for that Purpofe be One Body Politic
