An Act to repeal an Act passed in the Tenth
Year of the Reign of His Majesty King George
the Fourth, intituled An Act for repairing the
Road from Hinckley to Melbourne Common,
and other Roads communicating therewith, in the
Counties of Leicester and Derby, and granting
more effectual Powers in lieu
thereof.

HEREAS an Act was passed in the Ninth Year of the
Reign of His Majesty King
George
the Fourth, intituled
An Act for
repairing
the Road from Hinckley to Melbourne 9 G.4. e.v.
Common, and
other
Roads
communicating
therewith,
in the
Counties
of
Leicester and Derby : And whereas the Trustees acting by virtue of the
said recited Act have proceeded to carry the same into execution, and
considerable Sums of Money have been borrowed upon the Credit of
the Tolls thereby authorized to be taken upon the said Roads, a great
Part of which Money still remains due and owing, and such Money
cannot be paid off, nor can the said Roads be effectually repaired, main-
tained, and improved, unless further Powers are granted, and the Term
