Parliament, intituled

a public Nature,
which Act is called

Clauses Consolidation Act,
1845

And whereas another Act was passed
in the same Session, intituled

Act for consolidating
in
One Act
certain Provisions usually inserted
in
Acts authorizing the making
of
Railways,
which Act is called
"
The Railway Clauses Consolidation Act,
1845
:"
And whereas it is expedient that the said
Grand Junction
Rail-
way Company should be authorized
to
make the Branch Railways
herein-after described: And whereas
it
is also expedient that some
of
the Powers and Provisions
of
the said recited A4cts should be altered
or
amended, and further Powers grant'ed to the said Company; but
the several Purposes aforesaid cannot be effected without the Autho-
rity
of
Parliament:
May
it
therefore please Your Majesty tha,t
it
"ay
be
enacted; and be
it
enacted by the Queen's most Excellent
Majeety,

IemPord, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and
by the Authority
of
the same, That the said Lands Clauses Consolida-
tion Act,
1845,
and such
of
the Clauses and Provisions of the said
Railway
