An Act for inclosing Lands in the Parish of
Darton,
; in the West Riding of the County of York.
[22d June 1820.]

HEREAS there are within the Manor or Township of
Darton,
in the Parish of
Darton,
in the West Riding of the County of
York, certain Commons and Waste Lands which contain
together by Admeasurement One hundred and thirty Acres: And whereas
there are within the Manor or Township of Bargh otherwise Barugh, in
the Parish of
Darton
aforesaid, certain other Commons and Wa.-te Lands,
which contain together, by Admeasurement, One hundred and eighty-
four Acres: And whereas
Godfrey Wentworth Wentworth
Esquire is Lord
of the Manor of
Darton
aforesaid, and as such is Owner ot the vSoil of
the Commons and Waste Lands there, and of the Mines and Minerals
"therein: And whereas the said
Godfrey Wentworth Wentworth
is Patron of
the Vicarage of
Darton
aforesaid, and the Reverend
Robert Wilkinson
is
Vicar of the Vicarage of
Darton
aforesaid, and as such is entitled to cer-
tain Small Tithes, or Payments in Heu
thereof,
and also to a Modus ia
lieu of Tithe Hay arising and issuing from and out of certain Lands and
Tenements within the said Manor or Township of Darton: And whereas
Thomas
Richard
Beaumont
Esquire is Lay Impropriator or Owner of cer-
tain Great Tithes arising and issuing from and out of all the Lands and
Tenements within the said Manor or Township of
Darton
aforesaid, and
also of certain Small Tithes, or Payments in lieu
thereof,
arising within the
^d Manor or Township of Darton: And whereas the said
Godfrey
Went-
worth
Wentworth,
and also
Joseph
Shaw and
Thomas
Walton and divers
"other Persoüs respecüvely, are Owners and Proprietors of Messuages,
[Private.] H Lands,

Lands, and other Hereditaments within the said Minor or Township of
Darton, and as mth are severally eotfded to Right öf Common in and
upon the said Commons and Waste Lands within the said, Manor or
Township of Dation: And whereas the said
Thomas
Riebard
Beaumottt
and
Thomas
Walker Esquire are Lords of the Manor of Bargh ot||rwi8e
Baftigh aforesaid, in equal Shares as Tenants in Common, and a£ such
are Owners of the Soil of the Commons and Waste Lands wirhin tfie said
Manor or Township of Bargh otherwise Barugh, and of the Mines and
Minerals therein: And whereas the said
Thomas
Richard
Beaumottt
is Lay
Impropriator or Owner of the Tithes both Great and Small arising and
issuing from and out of certain Lands and Grounds within the said Manor
or Township of
Bargh
otherwise Barugh, and the said
Thomas Walker
is
Lay Impropriator or Owner of the Tithes both Great and Small arising
and issuing from and out of certain other Lands and Grounds within the
said Manor or Township of Bargh otherwise Barugh aforesaid: And
whereas the said
Thomas Richard Beaumont
and
Thomas
Walker,
and also
Samuel Thorpe
and
Joseph
Brury, and divers other Persons respectively,
are Owners and Proprietors of Messuages, Lands, and other Heredita-
ments within the said Manor or Township of
Bargh
otherwise Barugb,
and as such are severally entitled to Right of Common in and upon Ae
said Commons and Waste Lands within the Manor or Township of
Bargh otherwise Barugh aforesaid: And whereas an

was passed in
the Forty-first Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King
George
the
Third, intituled An Act for
consolidating
in One Act certain Provision!
usually inserted
in Acts of
Inclosure,
and for facilitating the
Mode
ofprov-
ing the several
Facts usually
required on the
passing
of
such
Acts: And
•whereas the said Commons and Waste Lands in the said Manors or
Townships in their present State yield but little Profit to the Persons in-
fterested therein respectively, and it would be of great Advantage to tbem,
i-and of much public Utility, if all the said Commons and Waste Lands
were divided, and specific Parts thereof allotted unto and among the
several Proprietors thereof and Persons interested therein respectively, in
Proportion and aecording to their respective Rights, Shares, and Interests
to be by them inclosed and held in Severalty in the Manner herein-after
directed or authorized j and also if the Commons and Waste Lands in
the said Manor or Township of Bargh otherwise Barugh aforesaid, were
discharged from Tithes both Great and Small, and if the old Inclosures in
the same Manor or Township, and also the old Inclosures and Commons
and Waste Lands in the Manor or Township of
Darton
were discharged
from Small Tithes; but the several beneficial Purposes aforesaid cannot
be effected and established without the Aid and Authority of Parliament:
May it therefore please Your Majesty that it may be enacted; and be it
enaäed by the King's most Excel lent Majesty, by and with the Advice
and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in flüs
Commission; present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, Tfiat

William Bingley

in the County ofTork, Gentleman, shalljbe,
and he is hereby appointed sole Commissioner for setting out, dividing,
aüötting, and inclosing the Commons and Waste Lands within the several
Manors or Townships of
Darton
and Bargh otherwise Barugh aforesaid,
and for carrying this Aä and also the said recited Ad in all respects int»
Exeeution, save and except such Parts of the said recited Aä as aie
hereby altered or varied, and under and subjeet to such of the Regula-
tioas and Kestrictions contained in the said recited Ad as are not repug-
