their Railway at

to enlarge and improve their Station
there, and to erect

Hotel
in
connexion there-
with; and for other Purposes.

HEREAS by

the

Caledonian
Railway Company (in this Act called
the

Company

mere incorporated
:
And whereas it would be
attended with Advantage and Convenience to the Public and to the
Company if the Company were authorized
to
alter the Terminus
of their Main Line at
Edinburgh,
to enlarge and improve their Station
at
the
Lothian
Road in that City, and erect a Hotel in connexion
therewith, and to acquire additional Lands for those Purposes
:
And
whereas Plans and Sections showing the Lines and Levels
of
the
proposed Line or Lines of Railway, and the Lands which may be
required to be taken for the Purposes thereof, and for enlarging and
improving the said Station
aid
otherwise in connexion therewith, with
a
Book
of Reference to the said PIans, have been deposited for public
Inspection
in
the Office at
Edinburgh
of
the Principal Sheriff Clerk
of
the County of
Edinburgh,
and are herein-after referred to as the
deposited Plans, Sections, and
Book
of‘
Reference
:
And whereas it is
necessary to amend a verbal Error in the Thirteenth Section of
‘‘
The
Caledonian and
Scottish
Central
Railways Amalgamation Act,
1
865
:”
But the Objects aforesaid cannot be effected without the Authority of
