SUPREME COURT OF ENGLAND AND WALESCOUNTY COURTS, ENGLAND AND WALESMade31 st July 2003Laid before Parliament13 th August 2003Coming into force in accordance with rule 1The Civil Procedure Rule Committee, having power under section 2 of the Civil Procedure Act 1997(1) to make rules of court under section 1 of that Act, after consulting in accordance with section 2(6)(a) of that Act, make the following Rules:Citation, commencement and interpretation1. These Rules may be cited as the Civil Procedure (Amendment No. 4) Rules 2003 and shall come into force—(a) for the purposes of rules 6 to 9 , on 1 st January 2004; (b) for the purposes of rules 3 and 4 , on 1 st April 2004; and (c) for all other purposes, on 6 th October 2003. 2.
